Plugin mobile gateway — devices, clouds, identity

Architected — and still building — a plugin platform for moving data between devices and clouds without baking either side into the app. Separate provision, data, device, crypto and local-auth planes.

• The app loads cloud, device and provisioning plugins at runtime. Workflow talks to a cloud, a device and a provisioner — none of those are baked into the client.
• First live pair: standalone HTTP enroll plus data plane (JWT, optional mTLS). Azure DPS and IoT Hub is a second composition on the same contracts, still in progress.
• Device plugins cover serial, USB mass-storage, BLE and card readers. Server split: bootstrap (enroll, JWT, seed) and data plane. Optional edge mTLS binds the client cert to the token so identity sits on the device.
